Aunty Ivy

For over 10 years, Ivy walked about the Earth visiting 40 countries, researching problems experienced and solutions enacted by Indigenous communities. Proud Grandmother, Mother, and Global Aunty from Aotearoa (New Zealand), Ivy is the Founder of the OUR Foundation. Her journey as a healer started in social work with youth, integrating healthy ways of life to address challenges like addiction, intergenerational trauma, and homelessness.

Motivated by a commitment to global peace and harmony, Ivy has now consulted communities, the unhoused, UN leaders, and others sharing similar life experiences across numerous countries. Her continued journeying deepens her understanding of culturally connected solutions, as cultural identity is vital toward regaining resilience and well-being.

Ivy has advised healing homes and centers using modern resources to adopt Indigenous principles. She bridges cultural divides, promotes leadership rooted in ancestral wisdom, and funds projects that address social challenges while advancing sustainable humanity. Ivy’s life’s work exemplifies the power of cultural connection to unite generations and create a harmonious future.
